Walking boy

Our boy is walking. It started as just a couple steps at a time, and he's been steadily working on his skills so he can go 10-15 steps easily. of course we've been trying to capture this on video, but it's easier said than done. He still crawls when he actually has somewhere to go, and we are usually too in the moment to remember the camera until the moment is over.
But Michelle was able to get this one short movie. "Good job!"

Thom Yorke is the Little Mermaid

Phoebe calls this song the Ariel song because she thinks Thom Yorke from Radiohead's vocal is reminiscent of the Little Mermaid.
Our girl has been taking dance lessons for a couple weeks now. You can see her show off some of her new moves like piroettes and arabesque airplanes. Notice also her own flowing arms, spins and the way she really listens to the music and changes with the changes in the song.

Boy on the move!

Our boy is crawling. He started about a month ago and now is moving around strong. He has a bear crawl, with both feet and both hands. Peep the technique.
Of course it is a lot of fun having him on the move, but also nerve wracking. He can get to the dog dish in the blink of an eye. We've been one step ahead of him so far, but it's just a matter of time before the dog food gets dumped on the floor.
One of the first things he did after he started crawling was to go up to the coffee table and pull himself up to stand.
Who knows, maybe I'll be posting a video of him walking in a month.

New Blog! Two Babies!

Seeing that we have two beautiful bouncing children now (some bouncing more than others), it seems only appropriate that we launch a new blog about both of them.
Our new boy is growing rapidly, and quite a charmer already. Smiling and laughing for anyone whose eye he can catch.
Phoebe continues to be a joy and is a really great loving big sister.
To start things off on this new blog, it seems best to have a collection of pictures of the siblings together.
